Markwright Keeshond is nationally recognized for breeding quality and award-winning Keeshonden. To date, over 100 AKC Champions of Record have been documented, including Best in Show, Specialty Winners, Sweepstakes Winners and Group Winners.

Owned and operated by Mary Ellen Marx-Meyer, Markwright Keeshond in eastern Tennessee, has a proven track record in continually establishing itself as one of the foremost reputable breeders and owners of Keeshonden that consistently win within the categories of obedience and conformation.

The breeding program at Markwright continues to strive for the same care of breeding to the Keeshond Breed Standard, with close attention to structure, movement and type since the early 1970s. Today, Markwright Keeshond has evolved from its foundation, but the basic "Markwright" look has been maintained.
